Shades of Teal is an alternative rock group from Timmins, Ontario, Canada. Established in early 2018, front man Aaron Sullivan, bass player/ backup vocalist Steven Pollak, and drummer/ backup vocalist Alex McGarry make up the three piece.

The band's do it yourself attitude has lead to the construction of a complete home studio where they record and mix all of their own music. Shades of Teal draws inspiration from almost all types of musical genres, which reflects in each insdividual song. The writing process is very open, where all members contribute to every song which creates a sound unique to the band.
